Our Farm
Nestled in the Katherine region of Australia’s Northern Territory, Apex Croc Farms spans over 1,200 hectares of managed wetland habitat. We raise Crocodylus porosus (saltwater crocodile) using methods that replicate natural behaviour and produce superior-quality hides and meat.
Our operations are fully licensed under the CITES Appendix II framework and audited annually by the Northern Territory Government. Sustainability is not a marketing claim here. It is a legal requirement, a scientific discipline, and a personal commitment.

Luxury leather
Grade-1 saltwater crocodile skins, tanned and finished for the global luxury fashion market. Supplied to tier-1 maisons in France, Italy, and Japan.
Restaurant & retail
Clean white protein with a mild flavour profile. Available as steaks, ribs, and mince. Vacuum-sealed and cold-chain shipped nationally.
Farm establishment
Hatchlings, juveniles, and adult breeding pairs for new and expanding farms. Includes setup consultation and husbandry training.
Industry education
On-site and online programs covering enclosure design, feeding protocols, health monitoring, and regulatory compliance for new operators.
How We Operate
Wild nests are surveyed and eggs collected under NT government permit. Egg collection provides conservation benefits by protecting eggs that would otherwise flood.
Eggs incubate in climate-controlled hatcheries. Hatchlings are raised in temperature-managed pens with scientifically formulated diets.
Crocodiles are harvested at 2.5 to 3 years for optimal hide quality. All harvesting is performed by licensed handlers following strict welfare guidelines.
Hides are salt-cured on site before tannery delivery. Meat is butchered, packaged, and shipped cold. All products carry CITES export documentation.

Our ranching model recycles wild eggs that would flood, returning animals to the wild at agreed rates. Population data is shared with the NT government annually.
